Ryle has a way of saying things that puts a whole new twist on them.
For instance, if you're prayerless, one should question whether you have faith at all!
Does my prayer life indicate the health of my spiritual life? Can you tell how strong a Christian I am by looking at my prayers?

And, yes, an amazing statement: "Waiting is from the enemy." But, of course, it must be so, for wouldn't God have those whom He has called to jump from the deadly fire into His arms without delay?!
WendyWendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08230575436747893912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858170935046417472.post-40223912596985840842011-02-10T03:42:04.124-06:002011-02-10T03:42:04.124-06:00I love the encouragement that waiting is from the ...I love the encouragement that waiting is from the enemy and we should step out in faith like Noah with his ax. I'm glad you found me!...Thank you, Sarah Allen,
I'm glad you found me! Boldness is something even Paul asked for prayer for more of, and if he, than how much more of it I need! We are commanded to share the gospel--God will determine the results, but I'm praying for people to surrender to Christ and be discipled through this blog. It's a glorious opportunity, blogging!
Blessings,
WendyWendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08230575436747893912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858170935046417472.post-2257927965985208912011-02-09T22:12:02.756-06:002011-02-09T22:12:02.756-06:00Denise,

We, in our day, take our Christianity too lightly, compared to his, I think.
WendyWendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08230575436747893912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858170935046417472.post-49356101364338714162011-02-09T21:28:06.970-06:002011-02-09T21:28:06.970-06:00Just stumbled onto your blog.
