Thankful Thursday: "Courageous" The Movie and The Man

It's Thankful Thursday (visit Laurie at "Women Taking A Stand" to participate).

"Courageous"

Sherwood Productions is coming out with a new movie called "Courageous"--Watch the sneek-peek below in which Alex and Stephen Kendrick talk about the theme of their upcoming film, which is men answering the call to courageously lead their families.
Well, today I'm grateful for my husband, who is
A Courageous Man!
He is faithfully leading our family, in a time when men who do so are attacked, belittled, put down, and bombarded with messages to do otherwise.  I respect this man of God, and admire the courage he displays everyday to do what is right in the face of tremendous opposition.  Today, I want to express my thankfulness for my courageous husband.

"...our fathers have told us.  We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done."
Psalm 78:4

Hi Karen! Welcome! I love Fireproof and Facing the Giants, too. Have you seen their movie Flywheel? It was done on a miniscule budget, so it doesn't have the professionalism of the others, but I really like the movie--it is very challenging. If you like the others, you should definitely see it!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, too!

Thank you, Serendipity, for your kind comment and welcome! I'm glad that you came by, and it's nice to meet you! Isn't it true that we often are focused on the negative so much, that we don't see how blessed we truly are. I learned at the marriage conference that I need to let my husband know how much and for what I admire him. I'm workin' on it.

Hi Rita! Welcome! So glad you stopped by! I agree that this new film sounds really interesting. I can't wait to hear more: who's playing the parts of the men, when it will come out, more of the plot and theme...I think they've done a great job on the other films, so I'm looking forward to seeing this one, as well. Thanks for commenting!

P.S. Love your tree! It's beautiful!
