Easter 2010 Photos

We celebrated first with Jerry's family, and Auntie Sue had an Easter Egg Hunt for her grandchildren (our great-nieces and nephews).  It was a beautiful day and four generations enjoyed being together.

The Truth
of Resurrection
Sunday is
Jesus is Risen!

Dane: too old to hunt, but not too old to eat!

And I heard about a wonderful resource for teaching your children about
Jesus' death and resurrection, called Resurrection Eggs!

These were purchased through Family Life Today,
but you can find them many places,
including here with a book explaining each of the items in the eggs,
and a story of Jesus' death and resurrection for young children.
Then we invited my mom
and her/our friend Clarice
for dinner on Sunday.

Our menu:
Ham, Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes, Cheesy Potato Bake,
Cashew Craisin Romaine Salad, Rolls and
Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

We also celebrated Clarice's birthday

Games were played before they had to go home.
We had a lovely time together!
