Food Friday: Recipe for Raspberry Smoothies

Our raspberry bushes have been producing in abundance!  Luscious, sweet raspberries, right off the bush!  While looking for ways to use them up, I found this great Smoothie recipe in my Taste of Home Cool and Creamy Cookbook (Smoothies, Ice Cream Treats and More!)  It's full of no-bake recipes and I just love it!  This would be a very refreshing treat for breakfast, or a great mid-afternoon snack on a hot day, which we've had a lot of lately!  Let me know if you like it!
 
Raspberry Smoothies
Yield:  3 servings

Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1 cup fresh or frozen unsweetened raspberries
1 small ripe banana, cut into chunks
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup raspberry yogurt

Directions:
In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until blended.  Pour into chilled glasses (we accomplish this by placing the glasses in the freezer for a little while); serve immediately.
