Wendy - Sounds like great books! I'm going to recommend them to my 24 and 27 year old. I especially like the idea of recovering "lost" masculinity. YES! I agree - God created men to be adventurers - strong creatures with a little wildness in them! Yielded to the Holy Spirit - watch out!! These guys are spiritual powerhouses!

Happy Birthday to your son, and a Merry Christmas to all!

GOD BLESS!

(p.s. Don't worry about your forgetfulness - wherever my brain went on vacation this year, I'm sure yours is there, too!!!)

Oh, Sharon, I love that word picture! Our brains are out there together having a high old time! I love it! I hope that your sons enjoy these books--let me know what they think of them. My daughter has really enjoyed the Ludy books, too. I really loved hearing Eric Ludy in an interview on "Wrestling Prayer." I also love that phrase, because I have felt that I was wrestling in prayer sometimes in my life. I believe God wants us to be passionate about what we pray for, and there are times that we must be like Jacob, saying to the Lord, "I won't let you go until you bless me!"
Well, it's snowing AGAIN here and it's very pretty, but hard to travel in--your 70's sound kind of good to me right now:)
Blessings and (Because of Jesus) Merry Christmas!
